Is it just me? Or do clocks only exist to remind us when we wake up late or miss the bus!?
Monday. 8:10 Yikes! Running late. Can anyone blame me, I'm exhausted. Hashem, if I mean anything to you, at least let the kids make the bus!
"kids, what are you doing back home"? They missed it. Ok, so that means my day will start one hour late. I hope my boss is in a decent mood today!
Ok, coping, coping, let's think: Yes! My new coffee machine is coming today. And boy, do I need that caffeine! Can almost smell freshly brewed java.
Message coming in from Amazon, hopefully it's by the door. "We are sorry! Your item is running late. Will keep you updated when gets closer".
Let me check my calendar. Hopefully something exciting on the horizon. PTA?? And a 10:50 PM appointment, when do these Teachers sleep?
And with no babysitter available, that will be fun. Maybe the school finally switches to Zoom for PTA!
Well, one thing is saving grace. My kitchen is spotless. I got skills there! Let me just admire the gleaning.. Oh boy, the baby apparently didn't like the breakfast I gave her, it's everywhere!
Never did I realize she had such uncanny aim, every single inch!!
Folks, Let's be real. This can all happen in one or two days and can happen in 20 minutes! Like, who can't relate! Sometimes it seems we are running from alarm to alarm.
From high chair to high chair. And certainly from carpool to carpool! And the only thing that's predictable is that things won't be predictable! Let's face it, the same things happen in every house.
We are all in it together. Let's try to smile, breathe and count our blessings. And let's be active and enthusiastic players in this wonderful game of life! :)
